Malawian hip-hop artist based in South Africa Gwamba has apologised to fellow artist Toria together with their fans for overreacting on a picture she posted on her Facebook page .

According to the message he posted on his facebook page, Gwamba real name Duncan Zgambo said he regretted commenting the way he did and is apologising for reacting that way.
“i will not try to defend myself. I will not try to explain my comment. This is because my coment was harsh. I should not have commented on her post and if anything I was supposed to be nice. I apologize not just to Toria, but to my fans at large” wrote Gwamba.
He further appealed to his fans that they should not be afraid to take pictures with him as there is no him without the fans.
“When you see me, dont be afraid to ask for a picture. You can even hold me the way you want to, I will be there smiling as always” he added.
On sunday 18 October 2020 in the morning hours, Toria posted pictures she took with Gwamba with a caption “pa chi Sunday , long live Major 1, Shepherd Bushiri Foundation” which attracted a pouncing comment from Gwamba instructing her to take it off.
Following this, a number of fans expressed their disappointments towards Gwamba’s reaction on the matter.
