Up and coming talented artist, Cookie Kay is set to raise funds through music sale in Nsapato 360 Movement to buy shoes for over 30 needy children at Thyolo Boma.
Extended Play (EP) titled “Concrete jungle” which has a blend of Afro-pop, Hip hop, and Reggae dancehall will be released on 17 October. EP has catalogue of 8 tracks out of which 3 are bonus and shall be sold via mobile money transfer forms including Airtel Money, TNM Mpamba, and many more.
In an interviews, Cookie, real name, Priscilla Khamula said Nsapato 360 Movement is established to purchase shoes for kids who don’t have shoes.
She added that Nsapato 360 Movement intends to raise MK 150,000.
“All what I ask from the fans and general public is to save money and buy EP. So that I should be able to purchase the shoes “, she said.
She further said is targeting Thyolo only in meantime because that is where she is dwelling, but will extend to other districts in nation in next projects.
“My target is to reach out to over 30 needy kids aged between 4-15 who don’t have single pair of shoe.
“I live in Lilongwe but currently based in Thyolo due to work. So, I will start from Thyolo, then I will move to other districts in the southern region and later on I shall spread across country with help of partners “, she said.
She appreciated fans and fellow artists who are helping her spreading the news about EP and also her participation in the charity .
She’s therefore, asking the general public to support her so that she can accomplish her goals. The artist says she has been working for past three months to come up with the elegant EP.
