Afro-pop music composer and singer, Smacks, has expressed satisfaction with how his latest video titled Mkamwana has gotted reception, with just days of dropping.
Its audio was released months ago.
The song’s storyline is about a man who has deeply fallen in love with a lady whom he has lived to hope for.
The sweetest thing happens as the man was on his way from farm, he meets the queen, fires misiles, and the lady, without much ado, accepts.
“And this time around, the man now takes the lady to his parents. He is very much over the moon for having floored such a beauty; a woman who cooks and washes [clothes] very well,” emphasized the artist in an interview.
The whole action has now been put into visuals, and the video has been dropped last Monday.
“Honesty, I am overwhelmed with how people have responded to the video. It has already hit over ten thousand views on my Facebook page alone,” said the Ndimakusowa hit maker.
And while appreciating his fans for the continued support on him, the artist also expressed optimism for more new tarcks apart from collabos, with among other musicians, Dan Lu.
“Apart from my own products, I have also allowed myself to team up with other artists; the likes of Kalawe, Dada Sado and a lot more musicians I am working with”
“…and also am urging my fans to be expectant of another hit song, another ‘banger’, my combination with Dan Lu,” he revealed.
Smacks ventured into music way back, and all along, he has done a number of hits that include Undipweteka that he did with Blaze.
