Polytechnic students Union has appealed to all poly students, alumins, other private universities and the general public to join them in an online demonstration taking place today 20 October, 2020 to help needy students to access their results despite having fees balances.
According to the memo released on 19 October, 2020 signed by Polytechnic Students Union (PSU) president Kunozga Mlowoka and General secretary Dalitso Nicodimo the needy students will not be able to finish their education if the situation is not taken care of.

“These students will automatically be withdrawn from the university of Malawi if the situation remains un attended to”.
“We therefore urge all students, alumni and the general public to type, post and comment ‘#Help Poly Needy students, education for Tonse.’on all social media platforms. Indicated the statement.
The online demonstration which has started at 6 AM and expected to end at 11 PM is taking place to help over 1000 poly needy students which come from poverty stricken environment.
